Sorry about the long gap between posts, we've just been keeping ourselves busy! We just got back from our trip to North Carolina, where we were visiting my sister and her husband and two boys. North Carolina is a beautiful state. One of the first thing we noticed was the trees. There are trees EVERYWHERE! We were in the middle of the city and had no idea because there were so many trees blocking the buildings and such. It felt like we were in a forest everywhere we went. To give you an idea of what I mean, here is a picture of the view from their backyard.

We did a bit of traveling while we were there too. The first place we went to was the Mount Vernon Plantation. It was George Washington's farm, and mansion house. George Washington is my absolute favorite president so it was amazing to be there.
I don't want to bore all of you with too many pictures at once, so I have decided to break up our vacation into 3 separate posts.
