Like father like son!

He's probably going to hate me for this when he gets older but...I couldn't help myself. We had just gotten home and Jordan had fallen asleep in his carseat. He sounded so cute!

Hmmm... it shows up when I previewed the post but when I checked the blog the video didn't work! :( Does it work for any of you? It's a video of Jordan snoring. :)

My cute baby!

I was cleaning Jordan's room out yesterday and I stumbled upon an add I had recieved in the hospital. See, when Jordan was maybe a day old he got his pictures taken professionally by a lady who does hospital photos. There was a web address on the add that I could go to to view his pictures. I had forgotten about those pictures until I found that paper, so I looked up his pictures and they are still on the website! I added the link on other links on the right hand side of this page. The one called "Jordan's Own Web page." Hopefully the link works. I also added a page Jordan's Aunt Monica did for us on Flicker. Thanks so much for doing that, by the way!

It's fun seeing a picture of him when he was so little! Funny thing is, he still looks just like himself! It's hard to believe he is already five months old though. He's just getting so big.

PS- I just began my own flicker page and I have uploaded a few pictures from our reception. I have also posted the link in other links

Well folks, we finally got ourselves connected to the internet! Hurray! I am probably going to be able to post a bit more often now... but I won't make any promises. This is very exciting though. You must realize, I haven't had the internet in my own home since getting married in October of 2006! Well... I guess that's not necessarily true, I do have the internet on my cell phone. But it is a condensed version, with limited capabilities.

As for news of our little family:

After a conversation with my sister, Natalie, I decided to take Jordan to the doctor to see if he might have acid reflux, and as it turns out, he does! So many things are beginning to make sense. We also found out that he has exema (sp?). So we went and got him the necessary perscriptions and treatments, and we are hoping that we will soon have a happier little baby. I wish I had known sooner, then he wouldn't have had to suffer from it as long. Poor little guy. But once again, thanks so much for your help, Natalie!

My new and improved blog!

Ok, so today I had a bit of time on my hands. I have been envious of other people's cool blog templates, and was sick of seeing my generic one so I decided to take a bit of time to make my blog a little more interesting. Usually I am pretty good at figuring out computer type functions, but today was hard. In between trying to search for cool images, templates and such I was dealing with a little infant who isn't feeling so good today. So I didn't have as much patience to sit and read through instructions and such and try to figure it out on my own. So I finally stooped to calling my sister, who, by the way is known for being computer illiterate (no offense, Natalie!) . But, oddly enough, she has managed to make a pretty good blog for herself. So she gave me the names of a few websites that have some good, and more importantly easy templates for blogger. I was able to figure it out and I am very excited about the results!

So.... behold the glory that is my new blog!

(Special thanks to Natalie the family blog queen!)

Well it's been about a month since I last posted, so I decided I should at least do a quick update. Gabe and I still do not have the internet, we ended up buying plane tickets to North Carolina and that sucked up a few of our funds. We're going there to visit my sister, her husband and her two little boys. They haven't met Jordan yet so we're excited to go. We might *cross fingers* drive down to Disney World while we are there and visit my other sister, Kathy who is working there right now, so she can get us in free!

Jordan is doing very well. We just went to his 4 month well baby appointment and he is now in the 50 percentile for his weight (as apposed to the 90th at the two month), and the 25th to the 50th for his height, and his biggest growth of all was in his head! He was in the 75th percentile, but he is now in the 90th! Yeah, I've decided that his head has to be big in order to hold in all his smartness. He is a very smart kid. On sunday the 13th he rolled over for the first time. It is so amazing to see him transforming to a small, helpless infant to a baby who can think and move on his own. I am glad he is so healthy and so smart!

That's all for now folks!

My little Christmas Elf!

This is Jordan the day he got his picture taken with Santa at Walmart. This is also taken with my phone. At the moment that is the only device I've been able to extract pictures from!

Jordan meets ol' St. Nick!

This was taken at the big Lifferth family christmas party. You should have seen it! The instant that kid's little baby bottom hit Santa's, lap a bunch of females with cameras began to bustle around and camera flashes abounded.
