Christmas craft with Jordan

Ok, so I posted these pictures backwards. It was supposed to have him painting the choo choo first and then show the end product, but you get the idea. This was way fun and super easy to make! Jordan had so much fun painting it (and Gabe and I only helped a teeny tiny bit), and I let him put on the "chinking bells" as Jordan calls them.

The train engine cost me a dollar at Hobby Lobby I think, and came fully assembled and ready to paint. For the lettering I used these awesome alphabet stamps with white ink, both were also a dollar and totally reusable. The rest is pretty self explanatory I think. ;)

I really like the way it turned out, and I think I'm going to have Jordan help me make one for Aiden as well.

i don't think i realized how much aiden looks like you, julene. What a perfectly splendid family you have. Don't you just thank your luck stars very day to have such a wonderful, divine group to be a part of. I'm so glad you are my family (by birth...sucker! you're stuck) You are an inspiring person. I just love you.

Mandie, I am so glad to have you in my family as well! Sorry I didn't see your comment sooner. I personally think Aiden looks like Gabe, but I suppose there could be a little of me in there somewhere. ;)

Love you, woman! And I miss you!
