Yes, yes, I know it has been quite a while since I last updated. And I really can't tell you why that is exactly, except I guess it was just a busy summer. And I got lazy. But I am back now, and I have a longish post for ya'll. Hope you enjoy!
Jordan's actual birthday is on the 6th, but since my little brother's wedding was on the 15th, Gabe and I decided to wait to do his party until the 13th, because my sister and her family, and also my brother were coming into town for the wedding and we thought it would be fun to have the whole family there.
But on his actual birthday, we did a lot of fun things, most of which I seem to have forgotten to take pictures of. But we woke up in the morning and after opening presents, we got to watch a parade (Payson Onion Days). Afterwhich, Gabe took Jordan and his cousin, Max on a bike ride. Then daddy and Jordan went swimming. After all this, Jordan got to take his best friend, and cousin, Max with him to Pirate Island Pizza.
Max wasn't sure what to think about all those pirates roaming around, so he declined taking a picture with this particular pirate.
The boys had a blast eating pizza and french fries, and watching Captain Jack Sparrow conduct bingo night.
After eating all of their food (wink, wink, yeah right! ;) ) The boys got to go check out the play ground and arcade area.
When we got home, Jordan got to enjoy his very own personal birthday cake. (Gabe insisted that a kid needs cake on his birthday!) So we put three candles in it and sung the happy birthday song.

Jordan's birthday party happened on September 13th this year. I thought it would be fun to be a little creative this year, and this is the product of my insanity.
Yes, 4 pairs of Buzz Lightyear wings. One for each of the young guests at the party.

This is the cake I made. Not a whole lot to it, but hey, I had just spent a few weeks making Buzz Lightyear wings! What do you expect?

The boys loved running around in their wings, and going inside the "Space Ships". Note the shape of the door. Just perfect for those little space rangers to fit.

And then they all boarded the space train

This is Christian and Nicholas, my sister, Natalie's boys. We were so glad they could make it for the party!
And of course, Jordan and Max, the dynamic duo. I think the boys all looked so adorable in their wings.

My camera decided to stop working at around this point, so that is all I've got for now. After this, there was a special appearance by Emperor Zurg, whom our four little Buzz Lightyear's were quick to give chase, and beat him incessantly. Or perhaps I should say just 3, as one particular Buzz Lightyear noticed that Zurg bore a striking resemblance to his daddy, and didn't appreciate the fact that he was getting beaten on.
After this, we all went inside to open presents and Jordan got a very special present from his mommy and daddy. Jordan was a bit oblivious to the meaning, but I'm sure all of you can figure it out. ;)

I thought we were supposed to keep this a secret :)
Jordan is awesome! I hope he is doing ok! I hear he started coughing.
He (and the rest of you) are in my prayers.
Love ya!
It was a secret, but just until I had my first appointment, which was last thursday. Everything looks really good so we figured why wait? We have been really excited to tell everyone. And if anything does go wrong, we'll just have extra support, right?
Thank you, about Jordan. He seems to get better each day, so it is looking like it won't be too serious. Thank you for your prayers! I think it has helped!
My boys had so much fun at the party. Thanks for holding off for us!
